Constanta is a busy port and industrial city. It has some interesting buildings and museums as well as a small beach. Museums include the Archeology and Natural History Museum, the Art Museum, the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of the Romanian Navy. Families with children might want to visit the zoo, which has a Dolphinarium nearby (and a MacDonalds!). There is also an Aquarium close to the former Casino which is now a restaurant.
The seaside resort of Mamaia stretches along the coast north of the City and has a fun fair and a village of timber built houses in the styles of different parts of Romania in use as bars and restaurants.
