Peles  Castle, started in 1875, was the summer residence of the Romanian Royal family.  It is a spectacular sight set in mountains and forests.

109  rooms were lavishly decorated by the worlds greatest artists of the time.

Peles is situated at Sinaia ‘the Pearl of the Carpathians’ which is Romania#s most fashionable mountain resort, one of a number of holiday centres along the valley, most of which have cable cars and winter skiing.
